There were two issues for me:

1) OMG June was judgemental. It was part of her character development, so I get that, but she could be super annoying. She had this mentality like, "Because you're a jock, you surely do x and y, but you suck at z. This is true just because you're a jock." Ugh.

2) The book just kind of fizzled for me a bit by the end. I wasn't really glued to it and I think I lost some of my investment.

Still a fun read though!

Came in great condition. Very cute story! I would definitely recommend.
This was a fluffy YA book, but oh so good! If you are looking for a sweet friends to lovers romance book this is the perfect read!
Haven’t read a great YA in a long while...but this one takes the cake..Right amount of angst and “feel good moments”...I keep rooting for Oliver & June to finish their playlist 😁
I loved this book, I bought it yesterday around 200 pm and finished it by 930ish. I had things to do but could not go too long without reading more of this book.
I really really liked this!!! Read it in one sitting, my favorite kind of contemp. Diverse friend group, involved (or not) parents, banter, some drama (but not too much), a really cute boy, and a judgmental girl who learns something about herself. Ahh. Really glad I bought a kindle copy of this!
If my high school life had voice-over narration, I’d like to think it would sound like June.

Shuffle, Repeat presents a view of high school that rings very true. While the characters are certainly smarter and wittier than my friends ever were, they are all fully realized, complex individuals – not a caricature in the bunch. You find yourself caring deeply about each one. Even Theo. The descriptions of high school angst and social machinations are equally authentic. The situations and emotions presented are powerful and universal. In fact, I think that last statement may have just earned an extra song on the playlist for Oliver…

I highly recommend this fun and authentic story!
I really enjoyed this novel! If you like YA romance books, I would definitely encourage you to pick this one up. I loved the plot, I loved the characters, and I loved the setting. Does it have the makeup of other YA romance books? Yes, but the characters make it such a fun read. There are only two things I wished
1. Some of the secondary characters were in it just a little more. They had so much personality! I loved it!
2. They talked about the relationship with her dad more.

But even without those things, still a great book! Read it, I don't think you'll be mad.
