Tyler Montclair has to shelter his three brothers from the family secrets he has hidden from them for for 15yrs until now, when his life begins to unravel. There is Tyler the oldest, then the twins Jacob and Sean and the fourth yet another boy was born Vinnie. They were born to the proud parents of Sebastian and Natalie Montclair. Who met an early tragic death. Tyler ended up raising the boys from 18 on, and continued on with the family Montclair Pharmaceutical company his father founded. He just ended a relationship his crazy girlfriend Denise and had security escort out but she still to take a bat to his vehicle. To clear his head and make a meeting he decided to walk to his meeting. Due to construction he had to cut through a park, where it all started to unravel! He met a homeless man that was trying to steal his watch and had grabbed his arm, so in defense he hauled back and punched him. The guy fabricated stories of being hurt, worst than he really was. yada yada.. There was a teen that witnessed it but he was too homeless and you could tell he was a runaway and ran before the cops came. Thus started the 'chase' to find him. This all occurred in the family park that they donated to the city in honor of their deceased parents. They always had a cookout on Labor Day for the homeless only now they were going to have it asap to flush out this teen to testify on Tyler's behalf. As they were cleaning up he meets Renee Preston who was crying while drying dishes and he finds out she just left her abusive husband. She insist he isn't beating her but he thinks otherwise. As she picks up her check she and Emma his assistant strike a more solid friendship. Won't spoil anything else, but everyone rallies to keep Renee safe, and in the end, everyone is running for safety. This book, is filled with stranger danger, twists and turns, untold family secrets come out, and cliff hangers that you cannot even imagine! Can't wait to read the next book!! well done Terri!!
I was extremely excited to see Terri Marie has begun a new series! Having read both the Billionaire In Disguise series and The Ties That Bind series, I have become a big fan. I bought this book, snuggled by a warm fire and was transported into the Montclair Brothers' world. This world includes family values, mystery, adventure, love, hate and a very creepy villain! All the things that I love.Tyler is the brother that gives all for his family. Renee is the perfect companion if she can only get away from her life as it is right now! The ending left me wanting more of this world and to know what becomes of all the Montclair Brothers!

Make it Rain... well, it rained alright, in fact it's still raining and I'm in fear of losing my heart over this one! I finished this book over a week ago and I'm just now starting to feel human again and able to put some coherent words on paper for this review. The prologue was enough to send me over the edge, jeeze Terri, whadda ya doin' to me?? First time in my life a prologue made me feel so much that my heart was overflowing with emotion. This is a love story, don't get me wrong, but there's so much more that has yet to be discovered. I found myself weeping, feeling frightened, laughing out loud, and just plain old in love with these characters!

Tyler Montclair is this magnificent, considerate, family loving, uber sexy business man that you just can't help but fall in love with the second he walks into a room. He's dealt some pretty dreadful situations that most of us would crumble from, not Tyler! He's tough when it comes to protecting himself, but more so when it comes to protecting others. Namely his brothers! I so can't wait to read about those hotties!

Renee reminded me (in the beginning) of a quiet little church mouse. She seemed to be no better than a doormat for that idiot husband of hers. Wow, was I wrong! She gained a backbone, but put herself in a rather shocking situation. It's hard for me to say if I would have done the same, but I'm guessing faced with verbal and physical abuse, you do what you have to do to survive. If anyone can do it, it's Renee!

Great supporting cast of characters. I'd like to start with Sebastian, Natalie, and Angelique. Oh boy, this love triangle nearly killed me! I wanted to reach into my and slap the crap out of Sebastian, kill Angelique, and hug Natalie! Natalie had my heart from the get-go and even though I wanted to grab her by the shoulders and shake some sense into her, I know why she did what she did. I fear if I talk anymore about this, I'll start to cry again and I'm almost out of kleenex!

Next up, the brothers... oh boy, this Montclair series is gonna rock my world. Jacob, Sean, and Vincent, I hope all get a book because I'm already drooling over them and they're basically a side character at this point! Can you imagine when they're front and center!! I'll have to put a damn bib on and change my panties every time I read them, that is if they don't burst into flames first! LOL! Now Tyler's assistant Emma, well, she's all kinds of awesome. A huge heart, a head for business, and a bod for sin!

Brian... what an old soul for a 15 year old! The poor kid, living on the streets and fending for himself just about put me in a tailspin! I can't even comprehend the life he lived. I appreciate why he thought that life on the streets was better than the one he was living, but holy heck, talk about scary and cold and just awful.

Great villain in Robert and even that dummie Denise! I must say Robert scares the ever-lovin'-crap out of me. He's unpredictable, unstable, and just plain stupid! Makes for a great meanie! He is (Terri's words) "The world's biggest tick!" When I get my hands on that jerk, I'm gonna choke the life out of him!!

The pacing is excellent, the dialogue is just right and the climax, well, you'll just have to wait and see for yourselves. Make it Rain is 235 ( version) pages long and it hooked me from the very first word! I love you Terri Marie and can't wait to follow up on the Montclair boys in the next installment, Through the Storm!

I started "Let It Rain" yesterday and couldn't put it down. This is the first book in the new series "the Montclair Brothers". I really enjoyed this book. It has a lot going on, but Terri Marie sorts and blends everything into a cohesive story. Do you like your books to have a love interest? Excitement? Surprises? Check, check and check! Buy it. Read it. You won't be sorry that you did!
